FROM THE SELF-CALLED "EDITOR IN CHIEF"
Dear
Internationals, Since I've heard lot of complains
from you on language barriers, which affect your
social life in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially
the ones related to the interesting cultural events
in Sarajevo (not to forget common services such
as banks, car wash, apartments rental, etc.) I
decide to offer you a solution.
What
we got here is a very first issue of WHAT'S ON?
Magazine, the magazine that mainly contain the
information on all the things related to your
"life after 5 o'clock", some business
and work info, map of the city, etc. From now,
you don't have to ask your local stuff for the
translation of cinema schedule or "how to
find the apartment" column in newspaper;
just turn to WHAT'S ON and you'll find everything
you need. For free
Yes, you've read right,
for free.
For
the beginning, 5000 copies of WHAT'S ON?
Has been published twice per month (with the intention
to be a weekly magazine). You can find it at the
bulletin board of your office(s), at the airport,
post offices, PXs, etc. It of course depends on
your response and critics. If you think it's OK
and write it on our e-mail, sponsors will be more
interested to advertise in it and it will cover
the expenses. For now, I can understand that it
is not perfect, but it's a first issue and I'm
100% sure that will be much better later and will
satisfy all your needs.
Yours
sincirely, Edin
Cavalic
